Welcome and thank you for visiting our website. Imesi-ile Descendants’ Association-USA Inc (IDA) is a 501(c )(3), donation deductible, non-profit. We are organized and operated exclusively for charitable and philanthropic purposes primarily among all the people of Imesi-ile in the United States of America and Nigeria. The Association membership is free and open to all sons and daughters of Imesi-ile origin; their spouses; and friends who have interest in the progress and development of Imesi-ile town.
The Association is formed to:
To promote the unity and solidarity among Imesi-ile people wherever they may live
To promote, support and actively participate in the social welfare and economic advancement of Imesi-ile people
To promote and financially support the educational aspirations of sons and daughters of Imesi-ile within the limits of our resources
To actively support efforts that enhance good relations among Imesi-ile people and work in tandem with any organization around the world with similar interest
To engage in any and all other charitable activities permitted to an organization exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding future provisions of the federal and state tax laws
To do and engage in any lawful activities that may be incidental to or reasonably necessary to any of these purposes and objectives, and to exercise all other powers and authority now or hereafter conferred upon incorporated non-profit corporations by law.
